T-Ball

Derek played T-Ball this year. It is such a different game than baseball. The kids are just getting used to the game and don't really know what they are doing. It is pretty comical to watch. Derek had been to many of Kamryn's baseball games and so he had a better sense of what he needed to do. The first game, when many kids ran the wrong direction and really didn't have a clue, he played first base and would get the ball and then touch his base to get the runner out. Way to go Derek. He also enjoyed playing catcher. He knew what the catcher's stance was suppose to be like, even if the coach tried to tell him to stand up. The last game, I think Derek was just ready for the season to be over. It was hot and he was tired. You can see him taking a rest on first base. Mom was a little glad for the season to be over too. I was ready to have my summer back. It was fun and we look forward to playing again next year.
