The other day I read my friend Kim's blog about the drive-in, and I was inspired to take my family. We went last night and took Kamryn's friend Jacob along. We had a great time. Kamryn and Jacob brought their wigs from Halloween and were being super silly. We like to be comfortable, so we put a mattress in the back of the truck and bring lots of pillows and blankets. This time we also brought camp chairs for the kids to sit on, hoping for more room in the truck. It worked, until all of the kids decided they needed to hop in the truck. We were mean and didn't let Kamryn and Jacob in, but the rest of the kids all ended up with Wyatt and I on our twin mattress. It must not have been too uncomfortable because I managed to sleep through the whole second movie. Wyatt was the only one who stayed awake through both movies (that's because he took a power nap while I cleaned up dinner and got everything ready to go). All in all, we had a great time. I'm glad Vernal still has an old fashioned drive-in.

I love the drive in.... I can't seem to ever stay awake for both movies though. Great Pictures.....
those boys and their wigs LOL fun times!!
Talk about a blast from the past! Wynn and I used to do this with friends, including the mattress! Several of us would go and we would pot luck a dinner. Back then you still had the speaker which you just put in the bed of the truck. I was great!!
